 Outside Management Links of Interest

Most Church management sites are limited to data collection, accounting, scheduling and other software templates for communication. These are helpful, but limited in their management applications. Vital strategies and tactics are not touched by many firms. For example:

Articles on management applied to Church organization are numerous, but seem to limit the number and value of writings by management educators and practicing business or industrial managers. Here are several on-line writings:

Business and Industrial Management Links

One of the of the goals of "The Work of Service" is to educate Christians on the value of good management principles, strategies and tactics for management of Church operations. Management was first found in the Bible, God’s instructions on success for His people and His Church. Business and Industrial firms borrowed successful management from the Bible anyway. Because they are God's principles, successful management at General Electric can be selectively applied to Christian Churches.
