Awaking Lay Ministers explores ways to knock, to learn, to explore, to identify the potential for lay ministry through Church small groups and discipleship. Every Christian can know what God wants of them, for the Bible says if we ask and keep on asking His purpose and desire will be given them; If we seek and keep on seeking, we will find; if we knock and keep on knocking, the door of His will shall be opened unto to us. (Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:)
Our goals in the free online courses on this site, are to help askers, seekers, and knockers to become: 1) More aware of their priesthood as a believer. (1 Peter 2:9 KJ); 2) More active in prayer, praise, ministry and evangelism (1 Thess 5:16-22 KJV ); 3) Better prepared to prepare the saints for the work of service or ministry (Eph 4:12); 4) Able at a higher level to support small groups and discipleship in their own church (Mat 28:19) .
